Senior Phase Attainment and Achievement 2026

8 students (100% of Senior Phase) were entered for accredited courses ranging from National 5 (GCSE Level 5-9) to National 1 or SCQF (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework) levels 1-6.

• 74 separate units or courses were entered for across the 8 students.
• 3/4 students entered for National 5 Practical Cookery passed with a D (one left prior to exam). Moderation and external verification of the course showed hight standard of marking and assessment and verification of marks for practical were within 1 mark.
• 1 student entered for National 5 English and History Passed with a B.
• 4/4 students Passed National 4 (GCSE 1-4) Practical Cookery.
• 3/3 students Passed National 4 English and National 4 History
• 1/1 student also completed National 4 Applications of Mathematics, and 1/1 student passed National 3 Applications of Mathematics.
• 1/1 student successfully completed 4 cooking-based college courses at SCQF level 5 and 6. They also completed a range of cooking-based work experience, and finished the year by being offered seasonal work in a café. This student achieved 25 separate courses or units in total.
• Five students also achieved a range of Personal Achievement and Personal Development units, including exploring the local area, work-related activities, hobbies and interests, marketing and events, and handling money. Three students will continue to build on this portfolio during the current academic year.
